Government Shutdown Affects Conservation District

Because Berkshire Conservation District depends upon USDA resources such as office space and computer access, the government shut down has affected us as well. Currently Aimee, the administrator, is working from home and trying to keep the district moving forward. She is only available by email at the district's alternate email address: berkshireconservationdistrict@gmail.com.

We do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause but it is out of our hands. Hope for a quick end to this unfortunate situation!

If you forgot to pick up your bulb order last Saturday, Sept. 28th it will be available in the lobby of the Conte Federal Building, 78 Center Street, Pittsfield until the end of the week. Just ask one of the security guards for your order (and thank them for being so helpful!). After this week your order will be considered a donation to the district.

We will continue to accept orders for the holiday sale until October 15th by mail only! Payment may be made by check, money order, or using the donation button on our webpage www.berkshireconservation.org. Due to the shutdown, there may be a delay in processing your order and mailing your confirmation so we appreciate your patience.

Thank you!
